How to become a genius: 13 tips to increase your brainpower. How many hours have you wasted in front of your computer after watching a video on YouTube? Chances are, if you like most people, you're probably spending a few hours a day on your screen. This is not good for your personal development, right?
Isn't it time to start using your little gray cells and harnessing one of life's most powerful creations, which is the human brain? Knowing how to become a genius is not difficult. The hardest part is establishing several different methods to increase your intelligence levels.
In fact, it is more than just remembering facts and figures. You need insight, introspection, and imperfection to raise your intelligence. To help you, we have put together a list of 13 simple tips to become a genius.
1. Sit and think
When was the last time you had a good brainstorming session? In fact, we think all the time, trying to decide whether or not we want to eat a Rubik's cube during a meeting on Monday. But we are talking about lying on the couch, looking at the ceiling and thinking of different concepts, ideas and solutions, which are complicated by the trivial. You wouldn't believe how many of us have intense thinking sessions as we regularly get distracted by mobile games and YouTube videos about cats.
2. Test your thoughts
Do you have an idea to solve the world's energy problems with giant rubber balls? How about a plastic bottle that squeezes ketchup, mustard, and reel? Or, if your team slid against a giant wall in the office, do you have a proposal that could be successful? Whatever it is, you should consider testing your ideas to see if they work. Doing so can take them to the next level. If not, you can go back to the plane and use different methods.
3. Train your memory
How good is your memory? As we get older, we become less acute; Scientists say that we normally reach our peak in our 20s. It's all over the slope from there. But should it be? No, as long as you train your memory, allowing you to make the smart pants you want to be. So the $ 64,000 question is: How do you train your memory in the first place? Here are some suggestions:
- Take notes on a speech, lecture, or book you've read because it forces you to remember what was said or done
- Manual everything so you don't have to rely on automation, be it speed dialing on your phone or automatic spell checking
- Take some time for meditation, as this centuries-old practice clears your mind
- Use a four-sentence exercise, which involves remembering four things about a person
- Remember and repeat in your mind what someone told you
Improving your memory is not only important to help you become a genius, but it also ensures that your cognitive aptitude remains with you for more than 20 years.
4. Read more
Let's be honest: there are many things competing for our attention. An audiobook, Netflix, a new mobile game, and Facebook Pursuit - wrong, navigation. But what about books? Unfortunately, reading has become a lost work of art, as many of us don't use books as much as we should. It should be time to make reading great again. It's one of the happiest experiences on the planet, and it's great for your cognitive health. Also, when you read, you automatically learn something, be it a new word or a new concept. So, grab that Seneca book on Stonism, read the black history of that crime, or learn medieval poetry.
5. make a morning routine
You are probably not a morning person, but in today's world it means nothing. By the time our world shifted to a 1970s version of the Omega Man movie, most of us were supposed to work on commercial days. So if you are not a morning person yet, what are you doing right now?
On your journey to becoming a genius, you can start by waking up early and busting an egg. Seriously. Here are some tips for doing a morning routine:
- Wake up at the same time every day (even on weekends!)
- Drink ice water
- Eat a nutritious breakfast without being distracted
- Start a to-do list for the day and complete all tasks
- Get out, even if it's just for a few moments
- Stretch your body for a few minutes
- I listened to a podcast one morning
- Read for 10 minutes (yes, we go back to that tip)
Here are some little things to start your day that can boost your brain power without realizing it.
6. Study opposing points of view
What makes someone an academic? You can assume this is from having multiple titles, writing peer-reviewed articles, and five-dollar terms. An authentic scholar is learning opposing points of view to be fully exposed to other ideas and opinions. Of course, mastering the orthodoxy of the spaghetti monster is more comfortable, but it is important to seek and develop intelligence by becoming an expert in the conflicting concepts of your search system.
7. Have a culture day
Everyone here should do something once a month: take an Arts and Culture Day for yourself, whether it's in the morning or all day. What is this? This is when you spend your free time reading (again!), Writing a poem, going to an art gallery, practicing an instrument, learning a new skill, or watching a foreign movie. It may be difficult to achieve, given our commitments, but it is very important to your quest for personal growth. have an interest in? In the words of the great American philosopher Shia La Bioff, "Do it!"
8. Get more sleep
We reduce our sleep. Or, at least, we don't sleep properly. Wait a minute. Is there a proper process for closing your eyes and plunging into dreamland? Yes! The first thing is to get more sleep, which has many health benefits. The mandatory minimum is seven to nine hours. After that, you need to incorporate several methods to ensure that you are sleeping properly. Here are some of them:
- Reduce exposure to blue light at night, such as from your smartphone
- Avoid caffeine or snacking during the day.
- Optimize your bedroom environment (reduce outside noise, keep it dark and make the temperature comfortable)
- Introduce routines before bed, like reading a book (not again!) Or listening to classical music.
- Invest in a good mattress, pillow and comfort
Sleep is necessary to become smarter and more focused. Without spending enough time in dream land, it will affect your cognitive performance and physical health.
9. Eliminate unnecessary distractions
Let's be honest: you have a treasure trove of distractions in your life that don't do much for your intelligence. Believe it or not, these distractions don't have to be related to your smartphone or a social network. Instead, they may have yesterday's regrets, tomorrow's promises, and a quest for perfection.
Some philosophical minds may also object that indifference bothers them more. This may seem like an idea from a conservative school of philosophy, but it's hard to deny that we waste time on things that are beyond our control. Bottom line: instead of waiting for the weekend to get something done, why not now?
10. Get the basics right
How can you change the world if you can't boil a pot of water, organize your house, or pay your bills? You want to become a pro at solving the world's most complex math problems or designing a permanent motion machine, but how can that happen if you can't do the basics? Once you know that to complete the small and inconsistent tasks that you have done in your life, you can proceed to run the world with Elon Musk.
11. Answer the questions you've always had
What is the event horizon? Should human organs be bought and sold on the market? Why don't we travel from Earth to space? Why does time only flow in one direction? Is a hot dog a sandwich? How can we travel to the moon if our shoes don't smell good? Many of us have questions that we say out loud or think in our minds, but we never get to answer some of life's greatest mysteries. This may be about the time that you have set less than your day to find the answer to your dilemmas. Start by visiting one of the many unique educational websites.
12. Surround yourself with the best
You have probably heard the expression "the company you are hiring". One of the best ways to increase your intelligence is to keep your intelligence challenged by your peers. Some of my friends would like to say 'good morning'. Why are you so smart, brother? 'But it doesn't do much for your personal development. By having other smart people in your social circle, you can discuss a wide variety of topics, from plays of Greek tragedies to Scandinavian literature and string theory.
13. Add exercise to your schedule
Exercise is important for your physical and cognitive health. Certainly some of the smartest men and women in the world haven't been ripped off like Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, but many do have some form of diet to keep fit. Being physically active increases blood flow and memory, promotes chemical changes in the brain that enhance learning, and facilitates adjustments in the brain that protect memory and thinking.
If you don't want to run 10 minutes or want to lift the cheese tub with your abs, you can probably do it to become the next famous genius like Albert Einstein or Michio Kaku. You don't have to be a genius, a genius. By adding some of these tips to your daily routine, you can improve your brain power, boost your memory, and ensure that you are using your gray hair cells effectively.
Your brain is a ship as powerful as the universe. You must not let this extraordinary creation be in vain. It's never too late to tap into your potential, even if it means waking up at the unintentional time of 7am on the weekends!
